​Lancet with protected, hollow needle.

This product is intended for capillary blood sampling from the fingertip, earlobe or heel.

Only for use with lancing devices Terumo Finetouch and Medisafe Finetouch II.

Functional needle design

• • ​Hollow needle specially cut for noticeable pain reduction.¹
  • Penetration depth from minimal 0.3mm to 1.8mm allows particularly gentle blood sampling.

Easy and hygienic use

• • The lancet needle is surrounded by a plastic holder, before and after penetration, preventing needle stick injury.
  • The lancet holder protects the lancing device from skin contact and contamination with blood, thus preventing cross-contamination.
  • The lancet is easy to attach and inserted into the lancing device in one simple move. When you hear a clear “click”, the lancing device is ready for use.
  • The slim lancet holder tip makes the desired puncture site particularly easy to target.

The Nanopass 34G pen needle is intended for use with a pen injector device for the subcutaneous injection of drugs including insulin and human growth hormone.

​Diabetes patients have long been in search of less painful¹ insulin injection.

Terumo has made this possible with advanced Nanopass 34G – the world’s thinnest double tapered pen needle² with a diameter of only 34G. The world’s first³ 34G!

Characteristics

World’s thinnest double tapered pen needle “34G”²

Nanopass 34G is 22% thinner than 32G.

• • Pain is primarily related to needle thickness. There are 100-200 pain receptors per cm² human skin surface. Nanopass 34G decreases the probability of touching the pain receptors and therefore makes the insulin injection less painful.¹
  • Nanopass 34G causes less skin trauma than larger needle sizes, which results in less pain.¹

Asymetric bevel⁴

The unique asymmetric bevel⁴ of Nanopass 34G cuts the skin instead of puncturing it.

This decreases the resistance while penetrating the skin. Another step towards less painful¹ insulin injection.

Slim double tapered shape⁴

The patented slim double tapered needle shape⁴ reduces the insulin injection force significantly.

Although the needle tip is 34G, Nanopass 34G provides less injection force than a conventional 32G pen needle.²

32.5G Needle for Pen Injectors

Description

The Nanopass 32.5G pen needle is intended for use with a pen injector device for the subcutaneous injection of drugs including insulin and human growth hormone.

The ​Nanopass 32.5-range offers three different lengths – allowing to choose the suitable pen needle for each patient type.

Terumo has put its knowledge about reducing injection pain into the design of Nanopass 32.5G. Also users of long needles will benefit from it.

Nanopass 32.5G offers patients a more convenient insulin injection by applying dedicated Terumo technologies.

​Asymetric bevel¹

​​The unique asymmetric bevel¹ of Nanopass cuts the skin instead of puncturing it. This decreases the resistance while penetrating the skin – designed to reduce pain.²

Special thin pen needle size

​The special thin pen needle size of only 32.5G (0.22 mm) causes less skin trauma than larger needle sizes.³
